Nile Hilton Egypt 1959 stamp and First Day Cover

A Nile Hilton 10 Milleme stamp issued by United Arab Republic on February 22, 1959 (Scott #463) to commemorate the first international hotel in Egypt which opened in 1958. The hotel located at 1113 Corniche El Nil, Cairo, Egypt, was owned by Misr Hotels and managed by Hilton until December 31, 2008.  After renovation and delays due to the Arab Spring, the hotel reopened as The Nile Ritz-Carlton in 2015.
