Trinidad Hilton Hotel Site 1976 stamp

On November 1, 1976, Trinidad & Tobago issued a 10 Cents stamp with the caption of "Old View From Present Trinidad Hilton Site - Cazabon."  The stamp featured the painting titled "San Fernando Hill" by the local artist Michel-Jean Cazabon.

Located on a hilltop in Port of Spain, Trinidad Hilton opened in 1962.  Another stamp featuring the actual hotel was issued in 1962 to commemorate the island's independence from Great Britain.
