The Azermarka company of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology issued a series of stamps commemorating the international event on May 14, 2012. The series included three miniature sheets of six stamps featuring historical and modern architecture in Azerbaijan.
The 40 Qapik Azerbaijani stamp of the modern building sheet (Scott #984) features the Hilton Baku Hotel.
Opened in 2011, the 25-story hotel on the coast of the Caspian Sea is Hilton's first property in Azerbaijan.
