Hilton Hotels purchased the Mission Bay property formerly known as the Ocean House in 1964 and operated the hotel under Hilton Inn then San Diego Hilton. Pebblebrook Hotel Trust became the property owner in 2019 and the hotel renamed the San Diego Mission Bay Resort on January 1, 2020.
