The Statler Hotel opened on March 10, 1927 in Boston.  In 1957, Statler Hotel Company was sold to Conrad Hilton for $111 million. In 1958, the Boston hotel was renamed The Statler Hilton and the hotel was managed by Hilton Hotels until 1976.

The hotel was sold at the end of 1976 and renamed the Boston Plaza Hotel and Towers.  The ownership of the hotel had changed hands a few times.

Since 2013, the Boston Plaza Hotel is owned by Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc.  Hotel address is: 50 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116 and the phone number has remained unchanged since it was the Statler Hilton for more than 60 years.
